Job summary

Proud to Care Devon is seeking a Part-Time Community Care Assistant to support service users in their own homes across East Devon and West Dorset, including Seaton and Axminster. A friendly, reliable, can-do attitude is essential to deliver compassionate care to the elderly and vulnerable.

You will work 9am–3pm, with flexible days, full induction and ongoing training, and opportunities for promotion. Driving licence and own transport are preferred; DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care or caring roles preferred.
• Full induction and ongoing training provided.
• Must be able to travel to locations within East Devon and West Dorset.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation.
• Supporting people with personal care.
• Medication administration.
• Shopping, housework and laundry.
• Escorted trips out and companionship.
