Job summary

The University of Reading invites applications for a part-time Lecturer in Clinical Practice in the Department of Pharmacy within the School of Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy. This 0.5 FTE post involves designing, delivering and assessing postgraduate and undergraduate teaching, including prescribing, the PACE MSc and MPharm provision.

You will be a registered nurse, allied health professional or pharmacist with independent prescriber status and current clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse, allied health professional or pharmacist.
• Independent prescriber status required.
• Current clinical practice in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess high-quality postgraduate and undergraduate teaching, including prescribing, the PACE MSc, advanced clinical practice and MPharm provision.
• Contribute to simulation, student support, workplace-based learning, module administration, quality assurance and development of new teaching initiatives.
