Job summary

Spider advertising on behalf of a well-established financial planning practice in Ipswich, Suffolk, seeks a Client Relationship Manager on a permanent, part-time basis (16–20 hours per week). The role includes daily client cover with hybrid working and regular attendance at the Ipswich office.

You will be the main point of contact for clients, coordinating communications, meetings and cases, while ensuring high‑quality, responsive service and accurate CRM records.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning or regulated client-service environments preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, meetings and cases effectively.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for client calls and emails, responding professionally and ensuring enquiries are followed through to the appropriate outcome.
• Coordinate client meetings and cases, including initial meetings, planning, implementation, annual reviews and follow-up activity.
• Manage client communications, providing clear updates, explaining next steps and ensuring requests are acknowledged and progressed.
• Keep cases moving by liaising with clients, providers and support teams, identifying delays and following up outstanding actions.
• Complete essential administration, including meeting preparation, CRM updates, record keeping and selected day-to-day administrative tasks.
