Job summary

Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions in Colchester is seeking a part-time Cleaner for a permanent role. You’ll perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, toilets and office areas, plus bin duties and sanitising surfaces. Training and support are provided; no prior experience required.

The role is 3 hours per week at West Mersea, Colchester (CO5 8QQ), pay £12.71 per hour, with Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Join a team keeping sites clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Friendly, reliable and self-motivated.
• Able to work independently and manage time.
• Comfortable communicating with customers and managers.
• Previous cleaning experience is a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
• Cleaning toilets, floors and offices.
• Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces.
• Litter picking within yard and car park areas.
