Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Cleaner for Blaydon on Tyne to help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces within our facilities. This part-time position offers a Monday–Saturday schedule from 10.30am to 12.35pm and a 12.5-hour week, with full training provided to ensure high standards.

You’ll join a trusted team at a busy site and play a key role in delivering quality service while developing your skills in a supportive environment. Uniform and PPE are supplied.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is a bonus, but not essential.
• Hands-on role with training and induction provided.
• Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Cleaning toilets, floors and offices.
• Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces.
• Litter picking within yard and car park areas.
