Job summary

SBFM in Haddington is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our team. The role covers cleaning changing rooms, showers, restrooms, reception and workout spaces, with 8 hours per week (8am-10am Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat). Training and development opportunities are provided.

Experience is preferred but not essential; uniforms, products and equipment are supplied. You will be part of a friendly team with access to education opportunities for progression, a pension scheme and annual leave.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning/janitorial experience is desirable, but not essential.
• Polite and courteous to all staff and customers.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize all changing rooms, showers, and restrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including reception and workout spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop all floor areas.
• Restock supplies such as toilet rolls, soap, and hand towels.
• Removal of litter.
• Follow health and safety guidelines when using cleaning supplies and equipment.
