Barnardo's is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join the Include Me 2 service in Lostock Hall. The role is 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with duties covering cleaning across playrooms, kitchens, toilets and all communal areas to maintain high standards.

You will work independently, maintain hygiene, manage waste, and report any health and safety concerns to your Line Manager. The role supports a welcoming environment for children, young people and families.

• Experience in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently.
• Awareness of health, safety and hygiene.

Aufgaben

• Keep all areas of the building clean and tidy to a high standard, with focus on playrooms, kitchens, toilets and communal spaces.
• Maintain excellent hygiene standards throughout the building.
• Report health and safety concerns, hazards, breakages or maintenance issues to your Line Manager.
• Manage waste and rubbish safely and hygienically, ready for collection.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the Service Administrator when more materials are needed, within budget.
• Store cleaning products and equipment safely and securely.
• Unlock or secure the building per working hours and follow security procedures including alarm use.
• Complete any relevant training for the role.
• Support with other duties as requested by your Line Manager.
