Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Cleaner to support the Staffordshire Police custody facility in Stoke-on-Trent. The role is part-time, 22 hours per week, with a Monday–Saturday shift pattern and a pay rate of £13.45 per hour.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean environments, following schedules, and upholding health and safety standards while delivering reliable customer service. Prior cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.
