Job description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner who will ensure our Council buildings are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for staff, visitors, and community events.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, public areas, toilets, and kitchen facilities
  • Emptying bins and recycling points
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting as required
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout Council buildings
  • Reporting any maintenance or health & safety issues
  • Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly
Qualifications
  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality

Working Hours

9.5 hours per week, worked as follows:

  • 5pm - 7.00pm Monday to Thursday
  • 5pm - 6.30pm Friday
