Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking a part-time Cleaner based in Haydock (WA11) to join our team. You will clean and sanitise office spaces, kitchens and washrooms, maintain cleanliness, and report hazards as needed. The role runs Monday to Friday, 3pm–5pm, offering an hourly rate of £12.71 with ongoing work.

Experience is preferred but not essential. We value reliability, punctuality and safe working practices to keep facilities clean and hygienic.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise office spaces, meeting rooms, kitchens and washrooms.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste per procedures.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop and polish floors as required.
• Dust and wipe desks, furniture, fixtures and equipment.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors.
• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper and hand towels.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards or low stock levels to the appropriate person.
• Follow health and safety procedures and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
• Lock or secure areas at the end of shifts.
