Job summary

Places Leisure is seeking a dedicated cleaning operative to deliver an efficient cleaning service across designated areas, while complying with Health and Safety policies. You will handle chemicals safely, report issues, and ensure equipment is cleaned and stored properly for the next shift.

Candidates should have a solid cleaning background, COSHH familiarity, and the ability to work independently with professional, friendly conduct at all times. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Responsibilities

More about your role

Working independently you will provide an efficient cleaning service throughout specific areas which have been designated to you. You will ensure all Health and Safety and group policy and procedures are adhered to and you will be responsible for using chemicals and substances correctly and safely to their correct ratios. At the end of your shift you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored safely ready for the next member of staff. It will be your responsibility to report any problems or incidents that may arise and communicate this with the relevant team and take appropriate action as necessary.

More about you

To be considered for this role you should have a strong cleaning background with a good working knowledge of COSHH regulations relating to the safe use of chemicals in the public domain. As you will work independently we need you to have strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload. You will represent Places Leisure and therefore the successful candidate should be professional and friendly at all times.
