Job summary

Marlow Church of England Infant School in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, is seeking a Class Teacher on a 0.4 FTE, fixed-term maternity cover for Mondays and Tuesdays starting 1 January 2027. The role is within the Main Pay Scale Points 1-6 with actual salary £13,627 – £18,776 pro rata.

You will deliver high-quality teaching, maintain high expectations, and foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment, working with colleagues, support staff, and families to support every pupil's progress.

• Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class/es, ensuring equality of opportunity for all.

• Work proactively with learners, parents, governors, staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils.
• Act within statutory frameworks and Teacher Standards (2012).
• Take responsibility for safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
