Job description

Queensway Hospital provides specialist mental health care in a supportive, person-centred environment. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Chef to join our friendly team and help us deliver nutritious, high-quality meals for our patients and staff.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook balanced, varied meals in line with patient dietary requirements (including soft, vegetarian, and allergy-specific diets)
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness in accordance with HACCP and infection control standards
• Support with menu planning and stock management
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure mealtimes are calm, positive, and therapeutic experiences
