Spider Web Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a Suffolk charity supporting women, young people and children affected by domestic abuse. We seek an inspirational, strategic leader for a permanent part-time CEO role based in Ipswich.

You will chair the Board, drive strategy, financial sustainability, governance and service delivery while leading fundraising, partnerships and advocacy. 28 hours weekly, £55,000 pro rata, with relevant senior leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership or CEO-level experience in charity/public sector.
• Understanding of domestic abuse, safeguarding, and trauma-informed approaches.
• Experience in strategic planning, financial management, and fundraising.
• Strong communication, advocacy and partnership-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the charity’s strategy and business plan with the Board of Trustees.
• Oversee financial performance, budgets, funding, reserves and risk management.
• Ensure governance, safeguarding, GDPR and Health & Safety compliance.
• Lead and empower the management team, staff and volunteers.
• Develop relationships with funders and partner organisations; drive fundraising.
