Job summary

An educational organization in the UK is seeking a Careers Adviser to provide high-quality career education information, advice, and guidance (CEIAG) to students. The role, based in Hillingdon, involves delivering individualized support to meet Gatsby Benchmarks and maintaining Google Classrooms. Ideal candidates should have a Level 6 CIAG qualification and experience working with young people. The position is part-time, one day per week during term time only, with a salary of up to £31,000 per annum FTE and benefits including holidays and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young people, preferably in education.
  • Ability to provide one-to-one and group guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality CEIAG to students in a school and college setting.
  • Support the Careers Lead in meeting Gatsby Benchmarks.
  • Maintain CEIAG Google Classrooms with up-to-date LMI.

Skills

Strong knowledge of education, employment, and training pathways
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to engage students with SEND and from disadvantaged backgrounds
