Job summary

Exemplar Health Care in Walton Grove, Oldham, is hiring a part-time Domestic Assistant to help maintain high cleanliness and a welcoming home for residents and staff.

You will perform daily cleaning routines, tidy designated areas, operate cleaning equipment, help with laundry, and report hazards. No prior care sector experience is required as full induction and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and hygiene routines.
• Ability to work in a care home environment and follow procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and a tidy, organised approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines and ad-hoc duties.
• Clean and tidy designated areas across the home (bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, offices).
• Use cleaning equipment and carry out dusting, mopping, polishing, and vacuuming.
• Support with laundry duties as required.
• Report breakages, damage, defects and hazards; maintain a safe, clean environment.
