Job summary

Crystal Care Collection in Brighton is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and help residents live with dignity, independence and happiness every day. You will provide high-quality personal, social and emotional support, assist with meals and personal care, encourage meaningful activities and companionship, and maintain a safe, welcoming home environment for residents.

This part-time rolling rota consists of three consecutive shifts on, then three off, with Earlies

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs.
• Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and hydration while promoting dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, providing companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage and assist residents to participate in activities and hobbies that enhance their wellbeing.
• Monitor residents' physical and mental wellbeing, promptly reporting any concerns and maintaining accurate care records.
• Respect and maintain confidentiality of all resident information at all times.
• Support residents to attend appointments and outings where required.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment, including light housekeeping duties and assisting with bedroom preparation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, supportive and caring atmosphere throughout the home.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and all relevant health and social care legislation.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the General Manager.

As a Care Assistant, you'll provide high-quality physical, emotional and social support to our residents, helping them maintain their independence while ensuring they feel safe, respected and valued.

Working Pattern

You will work on a permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on followed by three consecutive shifts off.

Available Contracts

• Part Time Earlies: 2:30pm - 10:00pm (Average 26.25 hours per week)

Pay Rates

• Days: £13.65 per hour
