Job summary

The University of Nottingham is seeking enthusiastic cleaners to join the Estates cleaning team at Jubilee Campus. You will be responsible for cleaning laboratories, classrooms, toilets, corridors and other areas, providing a high standard of service and customer care.

This permanent 15-hour-per-week post offers an early-morning schedule (Mon–Fri 6:00–9:00) with full training provided, annual leave, and opportunities for development within a supportive university environment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work early mornings and as part of a team.
• Role is physically demanding; lifting aids and training provided.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning a wide range of areas and spaces.
• Provide general and specialised cleaning in buildings.
• Clean laboratories, classrooms, toilets, corridors, stairwells.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Provide planned and reactive cleaning and cover holidays.
