Job summary

Booker is seeking a part-time colleague to join our stores in Barrow-in-Furness. You will deliver excellent customer service, help customers find what they need, and handle quick till transactions in a fast-paced environment.

With 16 hours per week, you’ll be part of a 5/7 operation, with pattern discussed at interview. We value reliability, a can-do attitude and enthusiasm for helping customers and supporting the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or wholesale environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to assist fast-paced customers.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

• Help customers find products and provide excellent service.
• Keep shelves stocked and handle till transactions efficiently.

You will be responsible for

Customers are at the heart of everything we do, our customers need to be back in their own business as quickly as possible having found what they need, we keep the shelves full, provide speed of service through the tills and wish them a fond farewell or maybe our customers need a delivery and we are accurately picking what they need.

You will need

Ideally experience within the Wholesale or Retail environment

A can do attitude

A passion for customer service

Be willing to go the extra mile

Always be there, on time and properly presented.
