Job summary

Booker Group plc in Greenock is seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Assistant for a part-time position of 20 hours per week, 4 days across Mon-Sun. You will be the face of our store, delivering excellent customer service and keeping shelves stocked and tills running smoothly.

Experience in wholesale or retail is desirable. You’ll work as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to grow, flexible hours, and access to the Booker benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ideally experience within Wholesale or Retail environments.
• Strong focus on customer service and helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at tills and on the shop floor with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Keep shelves stocked and help with accurate picking for deliveries.

About the role

*This is a Part Time position for 20 hours per week. Working any 4 days Monday-Sunday*

We are looking for someone with a real can-do attitude who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and willing to go the extra mile for our customers. Working as part of a team you will be working in a dynamic, fast paced environment where no two days are the same.

We are 5/7 day operation, (check our website for specific opening times.)

We only recruit individuals who are aged 17 and over

You will be responsible for

Customers are at the heart of everything we do, our customers need to be back in their own business as quickly as possible having found what they need, we keep the shelves full, provide speed of service through the tills and wish them a fond farewell or maybe our customers need a delivery and we are accurately picking what they need.

You will need

Ideally experience within the Wholesale or Retail environment
