Job summary

Booker Group plc in Gateshead is seeking a part-time Branch Assistant to join our fast-paced team at First Ave Team Valley Trading Estate.

You will deliver excellent customer service, keep tills efficient, stock shelves, and help with deliveries. Working pattern Mon 9:00-15:30, Wed 6:00-12:30, Thu 9:00-15:30; 5/7 operation and candidates must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Experience in wholesale or retail preferred.
• A can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Punctual and well-presented.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelves are stocked and customers are served quickly at the tills.
• Handle deliveries and accurate picking as needed.
• Maintain fast, friendly service in a busy environment.

About the role

*This is a Part Time position.

The working pattern is Mon 9-15.30 Wed 06.00 -12.30 Thurs 09.00-15.30

We are looking for someone with a real can-do attitude who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and willing to go the extra mile for our customers. Working as part of a team you will be working in a dynamic, fast paced environment where no two days are the same.

We are 5/7 day operation, (check our website for specific opening times.)

We only recruit individuals who are aged 17 and over

You will be responsible for

Customers are at the heart of everything we do, our customers need to be back in their own business as quickly as possible having found what they need, we keep the shelves full, provide speed of service through the tills and wish them a fond farewell or maybe our customers need a delivery and we are accurately picking what they need.

You will need

Ideally experience within the Wholesale or Retail environment

A can do attitude

Always be there, on time and properly presented.
