Job summary

Yorkshire Design Group in Leeds is seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping for two group companies, working with external accountant.

The role covers sales and purchase ledgers, invoices, reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and Sage-based records. Flexible pattern; approximately three days per week.

Office-based at The Calls in Leeds city centre; 20-25 hours; AAT Level 3 preferred; exposure to property sector is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper
• Proficient with Sage and Excel
• Strong numeracy and organisational skills
• Good communication with tenants, suppliers and contractors

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounts across two group companies
• Raise sales invoices and process tenant recharges
• Manage purchase ledger and supplier invoices
• Monitor balances and chase debtors
• Maintain tenant accounts and financial records
• Process costs for landlords, utilities and service charges
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Support year-end accounting processes
• Liaise with external accountant as required
• Provide financial information as needed
