Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Health Care Assistant to support a specialist bladder and bowel service. You will re-assess patients, assist with bladder charts, and provide empathetic care to patients and their carers.

The role requires experience in a community bladder and bowel setting; training will be provided to develop competencies in continence care. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in community bladder and bowel service.
• Knowledge of continence assessments.

Responsabilités

• Re-assess patients in receipt of products from the Trust as delegated by Continence Nurses.
• Provide support for patients and carers.
• Be competent in undertaking urinalysis, and obtaining urine specimens.
• Assist/advise in the completion of bladder charts (frequency and volume diaries).
• Record patient interactions and interventions and update them as agreed and instructed.
