Job summary

VANRATH is seeking a Bid Manager (Temporary) to support operations in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This role, based in Belfast, involves managing the end-to-end bid process with cross-functional teams in a hybrid/ agile pattern.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in bid management, proven success in high-value bids, and strong writing and presentation skills to deliver persuasive proposals under pressure.

Qualifications

• Expert writing skills and attention to detail.
• 2+ years bid management experience, preferably in the Public Sector.
• Proven track record in winning complex, high-value bids.
• Persuasive bid writing to create compelling sales documents.
• Experience with tender management methodology.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-service scenarios under pressure.
• Advanced Word and Microsoft systems skills.
• Ability to lead operators within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Use of influencing techniques to gain commitment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end bid process.
• Coordinate virtual bid teams and inputs from key stakeholders.
• Contribute to the written proposal and executive summary guidance.
• Ensure timetables and governance are met throughout the bid.
• Coordinate and plan client presentations as part of the submission.
