- Identify issues relating to impartiality, undue partisanship and fake news, and filter out any content that breaches editorial standards.
- Understand, and be the guardian of, the editorial tone of voice for Samsung News by following editorial guidelines.
- Display aptitude for the 'One Samsung' approach, with the ability to make valid editorial contributions to UK, US and Canadian news apps.
- This is a part-time role requiring shift work, with a willingness to respond to unpredictable breaking news events. Regular working patterns will include evenings and weekends. Success indicators include growth of UK/global presence, and high-quality content that maintains audience engagement.

- Proven experience in digital content production, curation, and publishing across mobile apps, websites, or social platforms.
- Fluency in English; additional language desirable.
Soft Skills
- A deep understanding of UK content and editorial; what makes content engaging and popular in different consumption scenarios, and the ability to demonstrate sound editorial judgment.
- Interest in the US and Canadian news agenda and ability to operate comfortably as an editor in those markets when required.
- Ability to integrate into a global multi-time zone team that is imaginative, high-performing, and highly regarded.
- The ability to maintain standards of accuracy and attention to detail when working to tight deadlines.
- An analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to derive clear and logical new insights through performance data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude towards challenging tasks, and a good sense of humour.

- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Enthusiastic about technology and innovation.
