Job summary

Central Basildon PCN is seeking an experienced advanced nurse practitioner (ANP) locum to join their team on a part-time basis for one day/8 hours per week. Based in Basildon, the role will primarily be involved in clinical assessment and treatment of minor illnesses.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, using autonomous clinical skills to assess, diagnose and treat patients, with opportunities for direct referrals and promoting health education and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Registered general practice nurse with current NMC registration.
• ANP master's level qualification.
• Independent prescriber qualification.
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing and treating patients' conditions, initiating direct referrals as appropriate.
• Delivering high standard of patient care using autonomous clinical skills.
• Providing expert advice to patients, carers and colleagues.
• Leading research and audits and training to healthcare professionals.
• Working within a multidisciplinary team to support and care for a diverse patient group.
