Job summary

Equans is seeking a Part-time Afternoon Cleaner based at Noel Baker Academy in Derby. The role is 15 hours a week on a 49-week contract, with a salary of £9,341.85 per annum. Shifts run 15:30–18:30, Monday to Friday.

DBS clearance is required, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered. The successful candidate will maintain high hygiene standards, comply with health and safety laws, and support the site team in delivering quality cleaning services.

Qualifications

• Essential experience in cleaning/hospitality with knowledge of housekeeping best practices.
• Good timekeeping and attendance record.
• Outgoing personality with strong customer service focus.
• Ability to communicate expectations clearly to the team.
• Desirable:BICS qualification or similar.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all work as requested and maintain hygiene standards.
• Report maintenance issues to the Caretaker promptly.
• Follow company systems, processes and safety rules.
• Keep cupboards clean and secured when not in use.
• Provide polite, professional service and respond to customer requests.
