Job summary

All Cannings Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated After School Club Assistant. As a member of EQUA Mead Learning Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative environment and support the learning and development of all pupils.

The role involves delivering a safe, engaging wraparound care provision, planning activities that promote social, physical, and emotional development, supervising meals, and safeguarding children at all times.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a safe, engaging wraparound care provision where children can learn, play and thrive.
• Support day-to-day organisation, planning and delivery of activities that promote children's social, physical, creative, emotional and intellectual development.
• Build positive relationships with children, encourage independence and support behaviour in line with school expectations.
• Assist with supervision of meals and refreshments, meet children's personal care needs where required, and help maintain a safe, secure, and stimulating environment.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents, provide feedback when needed, and contribute to a high-quality service for families.
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children will be at the heart of everything you do, with responsibility for identifying and reporting concerns in line with school procedures.
