Job summary

Creative Support in Thornaby-on-Tees is seeking an Activities Coordinator to deliver person-centred, engaging activities for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. The role requires planning, preparation of session materials and flexible delivery across a 22.5-hour week.

• Experience working with people with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.

Responsibilities

• Organise, plan and deliver a wide range of engaging activities for service users.
• Prepare activity materials and resources in advance to run sessions smoothly.
• Monitor participation and engagement and adapt activities to individuals' abilities and preferences.
• Follow a person-centred approach to promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.
