Job summary

Peverel Court Care in Bartlett's Residential Home is seeking a Part Time Activities Coordinator to support residents with tailored lifestyle events and activities. You will be friendly, compassionate and organised, helping design and deliver a varied programme of social and therapeutic activities.

The role offers 24 hours per week at £13.05 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and on-site parking.

What to expect in this role

Our activities teams provide essential support to our residents through bespoke, personalised activities. You will be compassionate and outgoing with a natural ability to connect with the people. We arrange a varied programme of events and outings. Ranging from visits to local stately homes, theatres and other places of interest, arts and crafts, Nintendo Switch physiotherapy, exercise classes, home cinema entertainment, croquet on the lawn and IT classes.

24 hours per week

• To ensure the wellbeing of the residents and to maximise their quality of life by aiding and encouraging each resident to reach their full potential.
• To promote good working practices and to perform duties competently and in accordance with company policies so ensuring a safe and secure environment for both residents and staff.
• That any accident is dealt with effectively and that correct reporting procedures are followed.
• Demonstrate outstanding time management, problem solving, organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and confidence communicating with people at all levels whilst maintaining confidentiality when required
• A strong service mindset and flexible can-do approach.
• Strong judgement and decision-making ability
