Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is seeking an organised Accounts Assistant for our Blackpool Renault/Dacia branch. The role supports daily processing of cash, bank, purchase and sales ledgers under the Branch Accountant.

Ideal candidates will have prior accounts experience, strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork, with a proactive approach and good numeracy and literacy. On-site role with part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in an Accounts role.
• Great communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Polite telephone manner.
• A proactive and process-driven approach.
• Good levels of numeracy and literacy.
• Team player who works well meeting daily demands.

Responsibilities

• Authorising bankline payments to customers
• Authorising vehicle settlements
• Sales and purchase ledger day-to-day accounting functions
• Processing internal payments across the Group
• Attending monthly credit control meeting with department management
