Overview

The Finance Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the accounting and finance department within a fast-paced environment.

Description
  • Receiving a weekly sales report, checking and creating subsequent invoices
  • Moving stock on accounting system to reflect physical movements
  • Creating Invoices for other multiple customers
  • Allocation of customer payments
  • Producing a weekly debtors report
  • Chasing any outstanding debt
  • Establishing root cause why customers are not paying (i.e. shortage on delivery, invoice not uploaded etc)
  • Working closely with sales agent/fellow team members to investigate non-payment by customers
  • Creating export invoices on an ad hoc basis
Profile
  • A successful Finance Assistant should have:
  • A background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial tasks.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
