Job summary

Acorn Early Years Foundation is seeking a part-time Nursery Assistant for 15 hours per week at Cold Harbour, Milton Keynes. The role involves 1:1 SEN support and contributes to outdoor learning and Forest School activities within an Early Years setting.

The ideal candidate will have EYFS knowledge, experience with children, and a willingness to engage in outdoor play. DBS check, references and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EYFS principles and practice.
• Experience with Outdoor Learning and Forest School beneficial.
• Understanding safeguarding procedures and policies.
• Experience supporting a child with SEN is desirable.
• Strong communication with parents and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a child with SEN.
• Assist in outdoor and indoor learning activities.
• Support daily routines and ensure safety and well-being.
• Liaise with staff and parents to monitor progress.
