Job summary

St Andrew's Fox Covert RC Primary School in Edinburgh is seeking a dedicated Pupil Support Assistant on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2027. The role focuses on meeting educational and wellbeing needs of pupils, including those with barriers to learning and Additional Support Needs.

Working hours are 15.5 per week across 39 weeks; duties include 1:1 pupil support and assisting in differentiated learning activities.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 1:1 pupil support and assisting in differentiated learning activities.
• Supports pupils’ educational and wellbeing needs as part of a school team.
• PVG scheme checks and overseas criminal record checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as part of the school team to support pupils.
• Assist in delivering differentiated learning activities.
• Support pupils with barriers to learning and promote inclusion.
