Overview

One of Jersey's larger fund services providers is looking to appoint a partially qualified Private Equity Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for part-qualified accountancy candidates seeking to further their career within the Private Equity sector.

Responsibilities

The role encompasses the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation and initial review of financial statements in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.
  • Carrying out some company secretarial duties and ensuring understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Preparation and review of management fee calculations.
  • Bookkeeping, billing and cash‑management reconciliation tasks.
Qualifications and Skills

Ideally, the candidate will be working towards an accountancy qualification (ACA or ACCA is preferred), with knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.

Analytical and problem‑solving skills are necessary for this role, along with the ability to set priorities, manage deadlines, and be a flexible, self‑starter with strong team‑playing skills.
