Part Qualified Accountant

ProTalent are working with a really well established and happy client based in the heart of Sussex who is currently looking for a talented Part Qualified Accountant to join their expanding team.

The ideal candidate should have experience at Semi Senior / Part Qualified level with particular experience skills in general practice accountancy. Ideally you will have lots of exposure to accounts production and tax and audit exposure would be great but full training is on offer for you.

Responsibilities in this role include:

• Assist in any/all parts of the accounts preparation process for a wide range of clients
• Preparation of draft statutory accounts and audited accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
• Assisting in preparing management accounts and bookkeeping
• VAT Returns
• Carry out bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensuring compliance with all accounting regulations
• Working closely with the accounts manager on preparing work for clients
• Assisting other team members in their tasks
• Plenty of client contact
• Ongoing training and development
