Qualifications

• Strong academic record with a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Part Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including invoicing and bank reconciliations.
• Produce monthly financial reports and budget analyses.
• Complete payroll workings and assist with supplier payments.
• Assist in preparing investor deliverables and year-end accounts.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting responsibilities of the business, including processing invoices, reconciling bank accounts, and posting month end journals.
• Produce month end financial reporting and analyse performance against the budget.
• Complete the payroll workings and assist with payments to suppliers where required.
• Assist with the production of investor deliverables where required.
• Assist with building and maintaining the budget tracker and updating forecasts on a regular basis.
• Assist with the production of year end accounts and liaise with auditors where required.

You will be our ideal candidate if you have:

• A strong academic record, ideally holding a bachelor’s degree.
• Part Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent accountancy qualification)
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting processes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (this will be tested).
• Familiarity with accounting tools. (Xero knowledge desirable but not required)
• The ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-growing company.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
