Part-qualified Accountant and Carryduff a great opportunity has developed in a established practice that operates throughout the UK and Ireland for a Part Qualified Accountant to join an established Accounts Team. This role can offer a friendly engaging working environment.

Duties

The Part Qualified Accountant will play an integral role within the accounts function. You will be responsible for completing and assisting with:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
• Supporting clients with cloud accounting software (Xero, Sage etc)
• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a range of clients
• Assisting with tax return preparation and other compliance tasks
• Communicating directly with clients and addressing queries in a professional manner

Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Accounts Technician or Part Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / IATI) or qualified by experience with at least 1 year relevant experience
• Strong Excel skills
• A good team player with a strong professional work ethic
