Job summary

A leading architectural practice in Oxford is seeking a motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to support Heritage-led projects across the UK. The ideal candidate will possess RIBA Part 2 qualification, at least 3 years of UK-based experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and excellent communication skills. This full-time role presents a competitive salary of £28,000 to £33,000.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years UK-based architectural experience, preferably in residential or master planning contexts.
• Comfortable communicating with planning authorities and private sector clients.
• Strong understanding of UK planning frameworks and building regulations.

My client is looking to appoint a motivated and performance driven Part 2 Architectural Assistant to support the design and technical progression of Heritage-led projects throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and execution of Heritage focussed projects.
• Assist in assembling detailed and well-structured planning application submissions
• Create innovative context-sensitive design proposals that align with client goals.
• Prepare high-quality drawings layouts and visuals to clearly convey design concepts.
• Collaborate with architects and planning consultants to ensure timely project delivery.

Key Requirements

• RIBA Part 2 qualification or equivalent degree in Architecture.
• A minimum of 3 years UK-based architectural experience preferably in residential or master planning contexts.
• Comfortable communicating with planning authorities and private sector clients.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of UK planning frameworks and building regulations.
• Excellent visual presentation organisational and communication skills.
• A collaborative designer with a passion for placemaking and a strong design-led portfolio.
