Job summary

Construction in Central London is seeking an Architectural Assistant/Technician to join an established residential design team. The role offers hybrid working and a culture focused on development and wellbeing, with projects spanning large-scale multi-unit and high-rise residential schemes.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in residential developments, strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in residential sector large-scale developments.
• Proven ability to coordinate with project teams, suppliers and consultants.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Detailed knowledge of UK Building Regulations and space standards.
• Experience of fire remediation or façade design on large-scale buildings (desirable).

Working alongside my client that are an established Architectural practice within the Uk, looking to strengthen their Residential team in Central London with an experienced Architectural Assistant or Technician.

This is a strong opportunity to join a design-led studio working on genuinely interesting residential schemes, within a practice that places real emphasis on culture, wellbeing and career development alongside project delivery.

The role will see you joining an established residential team that have delivered outstanding projects within Multi Unit schemes, large scale developments and High rise residential schemes around the UK. Working alongside some of the countries renowned developers, this is an opportunity to join a practice that is growing from strength to strength, develop your architectural career further and contribute to an impressive portfolio of projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience within the residential sector large scale developments
• Proven ability to coordinate effectively with wider project teams, suppliers and consultants
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Detailed knowledge of UK Building Regulations and applicable National and Regional space standards
• Experience of fire remediation work and/or façade package design on large-scale, complex buildings (desirable)
• Experience of Building Safety Regulation applications and work on Higher-Risk buildings through the Gateway process (desirable)
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD software

The salary is likely to be in the region of £30,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience. The practice offers flexible and hybrid working arrangements (subject to probation and ability to work unsupervised) and have a generous benefits package alongside.
