Job summary

ecube is expanding its Part 145 Maintenance Team in Wales and seeks a proactive Aircraft Maintenance support role. You will assist B1 Engineers during arrival, storage and maintenance checks to keep aircraft serviceable prior to entering part out.

You will read/interpret AMMs & IPCs with training provided; you will be trained in Part 145 Procedures, HF, EWIS & FTS, working toward a Part 66 A license with the aim of future B license. Emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Be highly focused sticking to the objectives and goals of the Company without distractions.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results.
  • Willingness to train toward Part 66 A license and progress to B license.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to ensure safe and compliant maintenance of aircraft.
  • Read/interpret AMMs & IPCs; additional training will be given.
  • Accept training in Part 145 Procedures, HF, EWIS & FTS.
  • Maintain aircraft IAW with team approvals.
  • Wrap engines in protective film where required.
  • Raise non-conformities and safety risks to your manager.
  • Collaborate with B1 Engineers and the maintenance manager.
  • Support daily reviews and Team Project Boards.
  • Use various tools/equipment and keep them in good repair.
  • Perform routine tooling inventory checks.
  • Support continuous improvement projects for quality and productivity.
  • Promote a safety culture and monitor duties for safety guidelines.
  • Contribute to KPI delivery across safety, quality and productivity.
  • Be available to be trained to tow aircraft and operate equipment on airfield.
  • Work toward Part 66 A license with expectations toward B license.

Job description

Summary

To support our growing Part 145 Maintenance Team and assist in the maintenance of various aircraft types. You will primarily be assisting our B1 Engineers during the arrival and subsequent storage and maintenance checks performed to maintain aircraft serviceability prior to entering part out.

Main responsibilities
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the safe and compliant maintenance of aircraft
  • To read/interpret AMMs & IPCs. (Additional training will be given)
  • Accept training in Part 145 Procedures, HF, EWIS & FTS
  • Working as a team to ensure aircraft are maintained IAW with team approvals
  • Train to wrap engines in protective film
  • To raise any non-conformities/risk of damage/ safety hazards to your manager
  • To work closely with the B1 Engineers and the maintenance manager
  • To actively participate support the daily reviews, Team Project Boards
  • To work with various tools/equipment and ensure all items are always maintained and in a good state of repair
  • Perform routine tooling inventory checks
  • To actively support the continuous improvement projects within the business to help improve quality, productivity, etc. and to raise issues and opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • To promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to ensure all duties are performed within established safety guidelines
  • Supporting the delivery of KPIs across safety, quality, and productivity to maintain operational growth
  • Be available to be trained to tow aircraft and operate equipment within the airfield environment
  • Work with help from the business to attain a Part 66 A license. With expectations of working towards a B license
