Job Description

We are seeking a self‑motivated individual who will work as part of a team to assist in the day‑to‑day administrative duties to support the Parks and Open Spaces section which includes Cemeteries, Allotments, Countryside, Trees both Urban, Housing and TPO's. The successful candidate will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Business Administration along with IT skills in the use of Microsoft Office packages sufficient to input and retrieve data. In addition, the successful applicant must be able to demonstrate experience of working in an office environment and possess excellent customer care skills. You will have an excellent telephone manner when dealing with enquiries from members of the public and elected members, along with excellent communication, analytical and written skills to enable you to deal with enquiries efficiently. The ability to work on your own initiative and in an organised manner, along with a flexible approach to working hours are all key requirements for this role.
