Job summary

Southend-on-Sea City Council is recruiting a full-time, permanent Parks & Grounds Maintenance Operations Manager to lead the council’s parks, open spaces, horticulture and grounds maintenance services across the city.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, oversee budgets and performance, drive service improvement and ensure health and safety compliance, with a focus on delivering high-quality, sustainable services for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading parks, grounds maintenance or public realm services.
• Track record of managing large operational teams and budgets.
• Experience driving service improvement programmes.
