Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Part-time Band 7 Senior Sister/Charge Nurse for the Parkinson's and Rehabilitation Medicine team at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital. Qualifications

• Must hold current NMC registration and demonstrate post-registration clinical experience.
• Experience as Band 6 or Band 7 previously and ability to lead a team.
• Mentoring and Practice Assessor experience in prior roles.

Responsibilities

• Take overall nursing responsibility for the day-to-day outpatient environment.
• Drive service development and quality improvement while promoting patient safety.
• Lead a diverse nursing team and act as a role model with high professional standards.
• Coordinate staffing across Parkinson's, Rehabilitation Medicine and Spasticity clinics.
• Provide monthly service reports and contribute to audits and IPC management.
