Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Nether Poppleton, York (YO26 6QS) is recruiting for a delivery driver role. 38 hours per week with overtime, typically Tue-Sat, 07:45-17:21. Starting salary £25,201 per year, rising to £27,561 after 6 months, with potential to reach up to £30,000 per year including weekend premiums.

You will sort parcels, plan delivery routes, carry out vehicle safety checks, and deliver to homes and businesses, providing a friendly, dependable service.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Stable, long-term role in a growing organisation

Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Tues-Sat, between 07:45-17:21.

Why this role pays off:
Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
Paid weekday and weekend overtime
Additional Allowances:-
o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
o Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)
