Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, is hiring a Delivery Driver at our Manchester depot. This permanent, full-time role offers 38 hours per week with overtime opportunities, weekend premiums, and a starting salary of £25,201 per year.

There is potential to earn up to £30,000 annually with overtime. You'll sort parcels, plan routes, perform vehicle safety checks, and deliver to homes and businesses, typically Wed–Sat with specific daily hours.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer focused.
• Independent worker but also a great team player.
• Stable, long-term role in a growing organisation.

Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Weds-Sat, between 07:24-17:00. Weds-Thurs 10hrs & Sat, 8hrs.
Location: Parcelforce Worldwide, Stakehill Industrial Estate, Manchester - M24 2YX

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)
