Overview

Job ref: 323213

Starting salary of £24,268 (£12.23 per hour) increasing to £26,758 (£13.49 per hour) on completion of a 6 month probation period. Plus, an additional supplement of £824 per annum pro rata, nightshift allowance and excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week). You could earn a total package of circa £30,000 per annum, including excellent benefits (based on a 38 hour full time week with overtime).

Contract Type: Permanent

Working hours: 38 full time hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Typical attendance is Tuesday to Saturday 08:00 - 17:00.

You will start your day by planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle. You’ll be busy collecting and delivering parcels to households and businesses, going the extra mile for our customers as you deliver everything from birthday presents to vital business information.

It’s important that you’re able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg.

It’s essential that you have a full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address) covering up to 3.5 tonnes (Cat B). Ideally you’ll have a clean licence, but it should not have more than 6 penalty points. You will be required to show your licence at your assessment.
