Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial is recruiting for a Parcel Sorter at the Stoke Parcel Sorting Centre in Wolverhampton. The role is full-time temporary, with coach transport provided from Wolverhampton City Centre.

You will unload mail from vehicles, sort letters and parcels, and work to tight deadlines in a busy sorting centre. Working hours start each shift at 6am, with at least 5 shifts per week on the morning shift.

Qualifications

• Reliable and physically capable.
• Comfortable working shifts in a busy warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Unload mail and parcels from vehicles.
• Move parcels and mail through the sorting centre.
• Sort letters, parcels and other postal items.
• Load and move mail bags and parcels.
• Ensure items are handled safely and efficiently.
• Work to tight deadlines in a busy environment.
• Move between different tasks as required during your shift.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
