Job summary

Pertemps is supporting Royal Mail with warehouse recruitment at the Glasgow Mail Centre G21 1AA. We’re currently looking for reliable Mail Sorters who are available to work a range of shifts.

This is a temporary, hands-on role within a busy mail and parcel operation. You will sort and scan mail, load and unload, move items around the warehouse, and prepare mail for despatch while keeping your area safe and organised.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; training provided.
• Be available to work earlies, lates or night shifts.
• Be reliable, punctual and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Be happy standing and walking for long periods.
• Be able to handle mail bags up to 11kg and parcels up to 30kg.

Responsibilities

• Sorting and scanning mail and parcels
• Loading and unloading mail, parcels and pallets
• Moving mail around the warehouse
• Preparing mail and containers for despatch
• Keeping your work area safe and organised
