Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Basingstoke is seeking a permanent delivery driver for 38 hours per week with overtime. Typical shifts are Sun-Thu or Mon-Fri, 10:30am-6:30pm, delivering parcels to homes and businesses in the area.

You will plan routes, perform vehicle checks and provide a reliable, friendly service while supporting a growing organisation within Royal Mail Group. Benefits include pension and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points.
• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat C1 up to 7.5 tonnes) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points and DCQC accreditation.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable and customer focused.
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player.

Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes.
• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks.
• Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses.
• Providing a friendly, dependable service.
